Booming Foreign Trade! Nanchang Goman Ships 2-3 Batches Weekly, 50k Autumn/Winter Outfits Head to Europe
Outside Nanchang Goman Garment Co., Ltd., two international freight trucks stand ready as workers load cartons labeled "MADE IN CHINA" in an orderly manner. This 50,000-piece knitted garment order will be shipped directly from Nanchang to Shanghai Yangshan Port before sailing to Europe to meet autumn and winter demand.
"These are our second batch this week-all custom new autumn and winter styles for European clients, including knitted underwear and casual sets," said Manager Zhang of the foreign trade department, pointing to the customs labels. "European clients have strict delivery requirements, specifying port arrival in early next month. We must finish loading by this afternoon to catch tomorrow's port consolidation schedule-no delays allowed."
Reporters observed standardized shipping marks on all four sides of each carton, detailing the product name, specifications, quantity, and destination. "Export standards are far stricter than those for domestic trade," said worker Lao Zhou, wiping sweat from his forehead. "Each carton is weighed, and the marks are verified repeatedly to match the customs documents. We've been at it since 8 a.m.-one wrong label could hold up customs clearance."
Several knitted styles developed specifically for the European market became hits this year, boosting orders by nearly 20% year-on-year. "The factory is fully booked, shipping 2-3 export batches weekly-all from European clients," Zhang added. A direct freight route between Nanchang and Yangshan Port has cut transit time by 3 hours, ensuring on-time shipments.
"With the recovery of foreign trade, we've scheduled 6 shipments this month, covering 5 countries in Europe and Southeast Asia," said Logistics Supervisor Wang. "Standardized processes from production to shipping guarantee on-time, quality delivery. Jiangxi-made clothing is gaining global popularity thanks to its excellent quality and innovative design-these shipments are the best proof."
At 11 a.m., the last carton was loaded, and the two "Nanchang-made" trucks departed the factory. Amid the roar of the engines, these craftsmanship-driven autumn and winter outfits set sail for retail shelves across Europe.
